Future Plans & Funding

This coming year will be one of strengthening those projects already established, however also looking into new initiatives that PACE could be involved in to better serve the community.

Of course, all of our future plans are reliant on raising the necessary funds. This is an area which is a constant challenge. The focus for this year will be to raise an ongoing salary for the caseworkers of enQuire, salaries for youth workers to develop and grow this work, and salaries for the managerial position of Project Developer and the CEO. We are also seeking funding to expand and develop our Childcare programme and need to find a source of funding to assist in the area of basic running costs and business administration. In order to maintain our standard of excellence and knowledgeable delivery we also need to attract funding for staff and client training so that we can help people to reach their full potential.

We will also be looking to expand the work of PACE both locally and nationally, helping other charities in setting up similar projects to benefit their own communities.

Our summer project, Camp Supreme, will also run again this summer and we will be seeking funding to support this.

A new initiative we are researching is 'Harmony House' a house for girls with life controlling issues. This project will be for girls between the ages of 16 and 24, and will deal with issues such as anorexia, pregnancy and drugs.

We are also looking to open a counselling centre, and a big man's gym. Furthermore developing projects with the elderly is also an issue high on our agenda.
