Networking & Capacity Building
Networking is fundamental to the existence of PACE. We cannot work and exist in a vacuum. Therefore, by interacting with other organisations, be they voluntary, community or business-related, we can seek mutual support in information building and customer referrals. It also helps us to keep up-to-date with what is happening in the local community.

Accor – Tax credit/voucher organisation for childcare
Arrest Referral unit – Customer referrals to enQuire
Booth Wood Primary School – Childcare Provision
Building Relationships, Loughborough – Project Developer sits on the Board
Busy Bee's – Tax credit/voucher organisation for childcare
Carpenter’s Arms - Customer referrals to enQuire
Charnwood Arts – Mutual exchange of info. to establish ‘artsburst’ and a youth cafe
Charnwood Borough Council, Environmental Health Dpt. – Conference Centre
Charnwood CVS – Have taken on volunteers for childcare through this service
Charnwood Shelter - Customer referrals to enQuire / Hiring of our facilities for meetings
Children’s Information Service – Info. for training courses and funding for childcare
Citizen’s Advice Bureau – Referrals from enQuire for debt cases involving bankruptcy
Community Cohesion (Pathfinder) – Funding for enQuire
Community Legal Services – Quality Mark for enQuire
Community Transport – Service for childcare / We are helping towards a new minibus Gain – Information and Training regarding job-related information, advice and guidance

Capacity building is expanding our own project and/or assisting and empowering other organisations to expand theirs. This is a part of networking and an area that we hope to develop in the future. ‘Groundwork’ is the name we have given to capacity build our own project and ‘Community Matters’ is the name we have given to helping others expand their own projects.
