Childcare

Camp Supreme

PACE Childcare is a growing project, started with NOF funding, that caters for children in the Loughborough area. We offer a caring environment for children to relax in after school and in the school holidays which enables parents to work or train. The Club strives to be responsible to the needs of the local community.

What we offer
The club, which has been open since September 2003, is Ofsted registered and care takes place at Rendell Primary School in Loughborough. We can cater for up to 32 children per session, aged 4 - 12.

The after school club (3.15pm-6pm), currently caters for Robert Bakewell, Stonebow, Boothwood, Mountfields, Church of England and Rendell primary schools.

We provide care by the hour, as opposed to sessional rates, and food is optional, to help tailor the care to the needs of the individual children and their carers.

The holiday club (8.15am-5.45pm), is open to all local children. Children can bring their own food or they can have all three meals provided, including a cooked lunch (provided by Green's Deli, an Organic food provider). We provide care by the hour or at a daily rate.

All sessions take place in a safe and child-friendly environment. Everything is planned with a variety of fun art activities, competitions, games, trips and other exciting events. For detailed policies and procedures please see the childcare policy manual, held at the club.

Quality of service
We currently hold the quality award ‘Aiming High’ and are working towards the new quality award IQ. This helps us to ensure that we are providing a quality service for everyone.

Our staff
We employ a qualified and experienced supervisor and a deputy, currently in the process of qualifying. We have a range of assistants who help in the club and with school pick-ups. Each staff member offers good quality inclusive care, which complements the warm and professional ambience of the provision. There are also a number of volunteers who help with school runs, driving, accounts and administration. All of the staff and volunteers are police checked.
